Your Association has had a very busy 2011, and 2012 is shaping up to be a huge year in terms of member benefits and activities supportive of you directly and the Association.

Just for this year's Annual Conference, we anticipate an action packed three days, beginning with the IAPSC Annual Members Business Meeting on the morning of Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Marriott Eden Roc in Miami Beach, FL. We invite all members to attend. The agenda will include:

  • The "State of the Association" President's update
  • IAPSC's 2011 Year-End Financial Report
  • A proposed amendment to the By-laws (to be circulated via email)
  • A review of the procedure for writing IAPSC Best Practices with a focus on Best Practice #3: Use of Force
  • The in-person vote and election results for the 2012-13 Board of Directors (proxy ballots will also be circulated via email in advance)
  • Member networking and introductions

Following the meeting, William Bratton will kick off the conference speaking on "Emerging Opportunities in Security Consulting". I look forward to seeing you there!
