A way to give from the comfort of your home, how easy is that? Really easy as it turns out since the Women's Rural Resource Centre has registered with "Say so for Good".
"Say so for Good" is an online survey company that provides charities with an efficient way to raise funds with the help of their supporters. For small charities like the Women's Rural Resource Centre, this is a very cost effective way to raise funds.
What's involved?
The site is www.saysoforgood.com and when you get there, click on the link for their "sign up" form. You then complete a brief survey about yourself and your contact prefrences. From the information you provide, including how often you want to be contacted, they will send you surveys that match the criteria you provide. Before starting any survey, they will tell you how much your survey will earn - a minimum of .05 cents and up to $2.00- and the length of time to complete the survey. You always have the option to do the survey or not.
We wouldn't suggest this option without trying it ourselves-so I did, and rest assured that I have not been plagued with surveys. Check it out. It's anonymous and might be just what you're looking for as an additional way to help WRRC.
If you have any questions please contact Frances, Volunteer Coordinator at 519-246-1526 ext 239

The present time I am living at WRRC and I can't say enough good things about this place. I've lived at WRRC off and on for 8 years now and I've got more support here than I have anywhere. The staff at WRRC give me support, understanding and awareness about my life and my relationships. Last year I was at a point in my life that I felt lost and without any hope. I'm expecting a baby soon and the WRRC staff have gone way above and beyond to support me and believe in me as a person/woman and most importantly a mom. I've now got some hope and I don't feel as lost anymore. I know if it wasn't for WRRC and the staff here I wouldn't have come as far as I have. |

Most abused women never call the police or go to a shelter; however they do usually talk about the abuse with someone they trust. Salon professionals are skilled and experienced listeners who have developed a bond of trust with their clients. Because of this unique relationship, salon professionals may notice signs of physical or emotional abuse that others may never see.
We are pleased to introduce the "Cut it Out" campaign in Middlesex County.
All salon professionals in the county are invited to attend the exciting launch of the campaign on Monday May 28th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Join us in the Lounge of the Strathroy and Area Seniors' Centre on 137 Frank Street. Refreshments will be provided.
While there is no fee for registration, please RSVP to Mel at mel.quevillon@gmail.com, or call Jen at 519-246-1526 ext 221
Spread the word to your favorite salon professional!!
