Helping the Disabled
For too long, some communities have viewed the disabled with guarded distance. In Sukhneh camp, the Holy Land Institute for the Deaf, Ladies of Sukhneh Society and the Camp Improvement Committee have joined forces with ANERA to change that attitude and provide much-needed treatment for people with hearing, visual and moderate physical impairments. Fundraising Challenge Success
ANERA exceeded its end-of-year fundraising challenge to match $100,000 generously offered by ANERA donors. Online contributions totaled more than $139,000, far exceeding the goal!
