BACK TO (NEW) SCHOOL

Gaza:  All across Gaza, children dressed in their freshly laundered uniforms entered school for the new term. At Baraem Al-Amal wa Al-Mahaba preschool, the blackboard in every classroom boasted huge welcome signs in both Arabic and English. The preschool, which is located in Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, was one of several ANERA renovated during the summer months.  The project is part of an on-going ANERA rehabilitation of preschools in needy neighborhoods of Gaza.Read more


West Bank:  ANERA has completed construction four more schools in thr West Bank, thanks to funding from USAID.  Al Libban al Gharbi Boy's School near Ramallah boass     eleven classrooms, a science and computer lab, an arts and crafts room, administration rooms, playground and a new water cistern.The school will accomodate some 300 students. 

Brand new schools in Beit Ijza, Nahalin and  Ezzariyah villages also are welcoming hundreds of boys and girls for the school term.
