Planting for the Future
Planting more than 6,000 trees in South Lebanon will help farmers still struggling to recover from the 2006 war that destroyed their land. With ANERA's help they are planting fruit orchards and vegetable crops that will bring crucial income for families in need.(read more)

Medicines for Volunteer Clinics
Volunteer Outreach Clinic was established in Shatila Camp in 2001 by medical students at the American University of Beirut and Lebanese American University (LAU).  It is staffed entirely by volunteers who receive no salary.  They operate the clinic once a week, on Saturday mornings, providing regular care to over 200 patients. ANERA supplies most of the clinic's medicines to help treat families in need.(read more)

Medicines Reach Remote Villages
The village of Wadi Al-Salqa is home to 6,000 people, most of whom rely on agriculture and livestock to make a living. For medical treatment, they rely on the Palestinian Wounded Child Clinic where Mohammad Abu Mghasieb, or Abu Hosam as he is known in the village, has his home and clinic. he opens to patients in the village and the surrounding areas 24 hours a day. Since its establishment in 2003, the clinic has been a major recipient of ANERA shipments. (read more)

No More Flooding in Tubas
The installation of a rainwater drainage system this past winter was a relatively small feat in itself, but everybody in Tubas, from the youngest children to the elderly, has felt its impact. The main road in Tubas is safely used by 70,000 Palestinians who live in the area. From improving safety to enhancing economic activity on the road, this simple drainage system has had an immeasurably positive effect on the surrounding area. (read more)

New Water Network for Ancient Community
In the mountainous region near Nablus lies Mt. Jerzim, home to one of the smallest religious sects in the world, the Samaritans. Although centuries ago the community consisted of millions of people, today the population has dwindled to a mere 735 inhabitants. And many were feeling sick after drinking water from their local source. The 25-year-old water network was in need of repair and, thanks to ANERA's help, it has been! (read more)
