Champaign County attracts sports lovers from all over the state with a plethora of sporting events to choose from. With the Illinois Men's Basketball season in full swing, the Illini will take on Cornell and Minnesota in the one-and-only Assembly Hall. Head over to Huff Hall this weekend to watch Illini Wrestling take on Chattanooga. The Illini Women's Volleyball will also compete in the NCAA Final Four this Thursday in the hopes of reaching the Championship and winning the title.
Family fun never goes out of season in Champaign County. With winter events like the Moonlight Skate at the UI Ice Arena, families can enjoy each others company skating along in a winter wonderland. Carmike Beverly Cinemas will also be showing Olivia: Wintertime Cheer to combine three featurette films for only $3 and $5. For more winter fun, enter into a winter wonderland at the annual Snow Globe event at Orpheum Children's Science Museum for an enchanted time featuring indoor sledding, snowball throwing and ice fishing.
