Introducing a new way to get the most of what you love in Champagin County!
An Ode to the Holidays

Help welcome the holiday season with a classic Nutcracker performance that will captivate audiences of all ages. To continue your holiday experience, attend the  Annual Carol Concert to enjoy exuberant holiday renditions through out the ages or travel back in time at the  Sixth Annual Madrigal Feast and enjoy a scrumptious holiday meal set to musical entertainment. The University of Illinois will also feature their Academy Recital this weekend, showcasing the results of a semester of hard work.

Suit Up for the Season

Champaign County attracts sports lovers from all over the state with a plethora of sporting events to choose from. With the Illinois Men's Basketball season in full swing, the Illini will take on Gonzaga, St. Conaventure, and Coppin State. Both Men's and Women's Gymnastics will also compete in the Mixed Pairs Exhibition that showcase the flexibility and strength of these athletes. The Illini Women's Volleyball will continue the Illinois tradition as they wrap up their season with a match against Central Michigan before they head into the NCAA Tournament.  Lastly, watch as top basketball talent from across the state meet for the sixth annual Shootout at the Hall brought to you by the Champaign County Convention & Visitors Bureau.

A Creative Imagination

With events like Drop and Shop at the Orpheum Children's Science Museum and To Grandmother's House We Go! sponsored by the Champaign County Forest Preserve, children will be able to make  personalized holiday gifts, allowing you the chance to run all the errands you need to this holiday season. For more winter fun, enter into a winter wonderland at the annual Snow Globe event at Orpheum Children's Science Museum for an enchanted time featuring indoor sledding, snowball throwing and ice fishing. And for those of you with a sweet tooth, spend the afternoon with graham crackers, frosting cookies, and candies,  by building your own Candy House Creation.

A Trove of Treasures

Explore unique creations this weekend at the State of the Art 2011-2012: National Biennial Ceramics Invitational as well as the annual  Illini Union Board Bazaar and Winter Craft Fair where you're guaranteed to find the perfect gift this season.
