Sunset Paddle
Learn who comes out when the sun goes down as we explore aquatic life of Homer Lake via canoe. Previous canoe experience is required. All equipment will be provided; please bring water to drink and bug spray. Minimum age to participate is 8 years old; an adult must accompany children under 18. $8 per person, or $4 if you bring your own canoe. Space is limited. Agronomy Day Returns to UI Campus, August 18
Stop by the Crop Sciences Research & Education Center from 7am-2pm on August 18 and visit the huge blue and orange tent and enjoy the wide variety of interesting, educational exhibits. Chat with company representatives, learn about classes in the University of Illinois' Department of Crop Sciences and put your name in the running for door prizes and much more! Stop by the outdoor display area to see the latest in farm equipment and technological advances. There will also be a showing of antique farm equipment, courtesy of the I and I Antique Tractor and Gas Engine Club.

Downtown Festival of the Arts, August 20
Join us for the 8th year of this great festival. Explore the culinary and artistic flavors of the downtown community as you stroll along the streets and view some of the finest works of art from artists across the country. Grab a bite to eat in a downtown restaurant and listen to some eclectic styles of music from around the festival. Bring the whole family to check out the Little Artist Alley and make some great crafts of your own.

C-U Pridefest is Back! August 20
Come out, come out wherever you are for the second annual CU Pride Fest, brought to you by the Uniting Pride Center of Champaign County! Check out the vendor and community booths, join in the family friendly activities, enjoy performances, and enter the raffle. Fest is 4pm-9pm, if you\'re over 19 you can get down at after party. Food provided by Piato and Piato Too. MC'd by the heavenly Leiloni Stars. Admission is free, donations accepted.
