National Travel & Tourism Week Amtrak Ticket Giveaway

May 7-15, we celebrated the economic importance of tourism during National Travel and Tourism Week.  From created jobs to tax revenue to cultural relevance, we were spreading the word far and wide.  In addition to communicating that important message, we had a little fun, too.  We awarded a pair of round trip Amtrak tickets to traveler Desiree for her insight into the importance of tourism. Here's what she had to say: "Thank you so much for the honor! I am terribly excited, and [for once] at a loss for words. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"  You're welcome, Desiree!  Thank you for supporting our fabulous industry!
