Champaign County CVB receives Two Illinois Excellence in Tourism Awards
The Champaign County Convention and Visitors Bureau attended last week's Illinois Governor's Conference on Tourism in Rosemont, IL. In addition to collaborating with our peers in the tourism industry and learning a lot, we were awarded two Illinois Excellence in Tourism Awards! The award for Best Marketing Campaign celebrates our partnership with the Quad Cities CVB on the Illinois Countryside Journeys itinerary - Agritourism at its best. The award for Best Event or Festival is a tribute to the inaugural 27th Mile Celebrate Victory Bash, part of the Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon. Our staff worked very hard on these projects and we're so proud to receive the awards and be able to offer great opportunities for our visitors to enjoy Champaign County!
