Happy New Year!
It's hard to believe that another year has come and gone, and that SAFE will soon be entering its third year as the industry's only member-centric organization specifically for aviation educators! As we look ahead to another busy year, it's important to reflect on 2010 to remember what we've been able to accomplish and to see where we're heading as an organization. To that end, the three-page summary, 2010 - The Year in Review is now available.

 One of the most significant initiatives SAFE introduced in 2010 is the GA Pilot Training Reform Symposium. Scheduled for May 4-5, 2011 in Atlanta, GA, SAFE and other key stakeholders will collaborate to ensure a strong future for general aviation by reforming the current training system. SAFE has taken the leadership role on this, and the symposium is a chance to showcase the talents of our members. Many of you have signed up to assist with the symposium already, but we can always use more help! If you want to join with fellow SAFE members and others in this important effort, please submit a symposium volunteer sign-up form.
