Things have been abuzz here at the SAFE Booth already this week. Sponsored by Lightspeed Aviation, the new booth looks fantastic! SAFE is engaged in many aspects of the Sun-n-Fun experience throughout the week:

• SAFE & Lightspeed are sponsoring a Communications Quiz as part of a Zulu ANR headset give-away
• Many SAFE members are providing Forums in tents and the FAA building
• SAFE is hosting its 2nd Annual SNF breakfast, sponsored by Starr Aviation Solutions & Northwest Insurance Group
• SAFE is taking the first step in the development of an Aviation Educator Mentoring Program by handing out surveys to assess the needs and desires of potential mentors and mentees

In collaboration with the Hampton University Department of Aviation, SAFE is reaching out to aviation educators. Results of a survey launched during Sun-n-Fun will steer the development of an aviation-specific mentoring program.

Access to a comprehensive mentoring program can improve the ability of our corps of aviation educators to teach well, and through this, improve aviation safety. Read the full News Release.

SAFE is replacing its e-mail updates with the debut of this new e-newsletter. SAFE's eNews will be published on a trial basis for six months through Constant Contact, a well-known provider of business marketing tools such as e-mail newsletters.

Tentative plans are to publish eNews monthly, perhaps more often when warranted or periodically during special events such as Sun-n-Fun and AirVenture. We may also experiment with layouts and content, too. Note these key features at the very bottom of eNews:
