  You may have noticed the three-and-a-half-foot-tall dynamo, Zander Hixson, charming folks at the recent RPAC Bowling event. Zander (pictured, right), son of escrow officer Melissa Hixson was the big winner of the evening. He hit the big jackpot on the ball drop winning more than 1900 tickets! With his winnings, Zander purchased a football, a frisbee, some red licorice, and other unnecessary plastic objects that his mother will love.
The experience will surely be ingrained in Zander's formative years -- which makes us all wonder: now that he equates Realtors with fun and winning -- will he be the next star Realtor for Cowlitz County?

What Happens If I Inherit Property?
 If you inherit a property in which there is a mortgage, under the federal law called the Garn-St. Germain Act, you are entitled to take over payments on the existing mortgage. This act prevents a lender from enforcing the "due on sale" clause which may have been in the mortgage which was on the property. |
