Is it Fraud or Ignorance?

You've got to wonder sometimes - are borrowers, who continue to draw against a line of credit post-closing, that oblivious? Or are they knowingly committing fraud? Do borrowers really think they will never have to repay the debt if they already sold the property securing the line of credit?

It might be a sign of the times, but frequently the bank continues to solicit the borrower to draw against the available funds. Welcome, Baby Finn!

On December 21st, Melissa Hixson, escrow officer, delivered a healthy baby boy who weighed 8 lbs. 6 oz. The family is doing well and Melissa hopes to make some stops soon to show you her little bundle of joy. Congratulations to Melissa and Jamie!

CEDC Annual Meeting - The Cowlitz Economic Development Council will be holding their annual meeting featuring a keynote presentation by nationally renowned retail/industrial analytics company-Buxton. Claws for Paws - A fantastic evening benefitting the Humane Society of Cowlitz County. Crab feed and auction will be held Saturday, January 28th with a silent auction beginning at 6:00pm. The event will be held at the Cowlitz County Expo Center and the cost is $50 per ticket, with table of 8 available. All-you-can-eat crab, dancing & music provided by the King Brothers.
