Getting to Know Cascade's Katy Lee
Cascade's Escrow Assistant Extraordinaire!
 Katy Lee has been with Cascade Title for four years. She first began as the Policy Coordinator where she was also able to fill in for anyone who needed a backup. Katy has helped in Marketing, Typing, Reception, Recording, and Banking.
After her maternity leave, Katy found her home in Escrow. Katy has spent the past three years glued to her Escrow Officers in an attempt to learn as much as she can. Katy enjoys the many challenges of Escrow. She knows every day she comes to work there will be something new and exciting facing her. She also loves meeting new people and hearing their stories.
On the weekend you will find Katy with her baby boy, Tyen. At three years old, Tyen already knows how to keep Katy on her toes. They spend most of their time riding bikes, playing at the park, playing catch or watching Toy Story (his new favorite movie).
While Katy works hard for her customers, she also works hard to study for the LPO Exam in October. Katy has many goals for the future and one of those goals is to be an Escrow Officer. We are all confident here at Cascade Title that Katy will reach that goal!

Hello to all and welcome to the month of April. Let's hope with all the rain we've had in March, Mother Nature does not give us too many April Showers! From what I am hearing and seeing out there in the businesses, things are slowly picking up.
Inventories for properties seem to be increasing and commercial transactions are starting to make a slight move. Good signs for an economy that has been anything but stimulating. For those that know me, my glass is always half full and I try to put a positive spin on everything I talk about. If you have survived this market so far, it is my opinion that you have weathered the worst and we are going to see a slow, but steady upward trend.
I have to thank Bob Davis for passing on an excellent web site that does a 4 to 6 minute market update every morning. I strongly recommend you sign up for the "Think Big, Work Small" video. It is free and as I said earlier, it only takes a few minutes to hear what is happening in our real estate and lending market. These two guys, Frank Garay and Brian Stevens are not only very current with issues, they make it fun at the same time. Their web address is: http://tbwsdailyshow.com. Sign up for the video and it will automatically be emailed to you early every morning. Let's face it, with so many changes happening in our industry due to our Federal and State Governments involvement, we all need a quick and efficient source to keep us in the loop, and this one will do the job.
