St. Patrick's Day History

St. Patrick's Day is celebrated on March 17, his religious feast day and the anniversary of his death in the fifth century. The Irish have observed this day as a religious holiday for over a thousand years. On St. Patrick's Day, which falls during the Christian season of Lent, Irish families would traditionally attend church in the morning and celebrate in the afternoon. Lenten prohibitions against the consumption of meat were waived and people would dance, drink and feast-on the traditional meal of Irish bacon and cabbage.

Getting to Know Cascade Title's Lindsey Faeber

Lindsey Faeber has been with Cascade Title for nearly five years. When she first started out as summer help, it never occurred to her that her job would evolve into a full time profession. From her start as receptionist, Lindsey has learned multiple areas of the title and escrow business, and is now Escrow Assistant for Bonnie Woodruff.
On evenings and weekends, you will find Lindsey at Snap Fitness teaching Zumba. What began as a favorite fitness class has turned into a second career. It helps that Lindsey also has over eleven years of dance experience.
Lindsey's enthusiasm is contagious and her co-workers have caught the Zumba bug. Attend any of her classes, and you're sure to see her co-workers attempting to keep up with her Zumba groove! Click here to see some of Lindsey's Zumba classes.

Spring commences on the 20th, and now we will be able to work in our yards with some of the early spring flowers bringing bright colors back into view!
