Hello to all and Happy Valentine's Day to all you romantic lovers out there! January was a busy month and we had a great trip to Olympia for our Legislative Hill Day. Yours truly drove a van full of eager Realtors early on January 20^th to meet our district representatives. It is a full day and there is so much to see and participate in, it would take me a full page to cover everything. Every year this event becomes more important to attend as our laws are constantly changing, and sometimes not the best for our industry. We need you to help our voices to be heard. If you have never gone to this before, please keep it in mind for next year. We would love to fill two vans and really make our presence known. Also, I would encourage you to attend our Legislative conference calls that take place every other Friday starting January 28^th. Be at the CCAR office a bit before 9am and Listen to our Washington Realtor lobbyists and attorneys. We can make a difference and help make our industry the best it can be.

I am currently on the CCAR board as Affiliate Director and would ask that if any affiliate member has information or issues that need to be addressed by our board, please let me help. I am as close as the phone and want your voice to be heard.

David Thelin has asked me to chair the CCAR Information Systems and we are currently working very hard to get our web site current and more user friendly. Stay tuned for updated information from Larry Hembree as we progress with this task. Of course, if you have any ideas or suggestions, I want to hear them and help make this site the one you go to for all your questions with our association.
