When February rolls around, most of us think of it as the "month of love", however, I like to think of it as the month of encouragement and hope. As I walk out my front door to start my day, I witness the fact that it's not dark, the crocus and daffodils are peeking out, the days are staying lighter longer, and it looks as if it will be a nice clear winter day, which then tells me that spring is right around the corner! Cowlitz Title wishes all of you the hope and encouragement needed to be successful in every way. "Je vous remercie pour votre enterprise."

CEDC Annual Meeting Scheduled

The Cowlitz Economic Development Council is holding its Annual Meeting on Thursday, February 3rd at the Cowlitz Expo and Conference Center. Registration begins at 11:30am and the program will begin at Noon. The CEDC is pleased to announce our keynote speaker is Matthew Gardner, Principal of Gardner Economics. Matthew Gardner is considered by many to be one of the foremost real estate consultants in the Pacific Northwest. He will discuss the current economic climate and what he sees in the future for the economy of Southwest Washington. In addition to managing his consulting practice, Mr. Gardner is a member of the Pacific Real Estate Institute. He also chairs the board of trustees for the Washington State Center for Real Estate Research and is an advisory board member for the Runstad Center for real estate studies at the University of Washington. He has appeared on CNN, NBC and NPR news services to discuss real estate issues, and is regularly cited in the Wall Street Journal and all local media.
