Cowlitz Title SingersWe trust that all of you had a wonderful Christmas and are ready to ring in the New Year!  Speaking of ringing, did you recognize some Salvation Army bell ringers? 

You might have recognized a few of your Cowlitz Title staff at the 15th Avenue Safeway ringing the bells.  If not, you might have heard the bells ring, the guitar strings strung and the ukulele chords played in your office as some of your favorite Cowlitz Title employee's including Dan Lindstrom, Bianca Lemmons, Theresa Campbell, Terry Woodruff and Arlene Reynolds shared their caroling talents with you!  Either way, all of us here at Cowlitz Title wish you a happy and healthy 2011!

County's Furlough Fridays Ending
The Friday closures of Cowlitz County offices will come to an end beginning in January.  After two years of furlough-driven closures, county offices will be open for Friday business starting January 7th.

lccaThe Lower Columbia Contractor's Association will be holding their Installation of Officers & Awards Banquet on Tuesday, January 18th  at the Red Lion Hotel & Conference Center.   A Social will begin at 5:30 with Dinner at 6:00.  The guest speaker will be David Crowe, Ph. D., Chief Economist& Senior Vice President of the NAHB.  Dr. Crowe is responsible for NAHB's forecast of housing and economic trends, survey research and analysis of the home building industry and consumer preferences, as well as microeconomic analysis of government policies that affect housing.  Dr. Crowe will be updating the LCCA members on the industry housing forecast for 2011, so you won't want to miss out on what he has to say!  For information on becoming a member of the LCCA or to R.S.V.P. for the event, please contact the office at 360.425.8820.
