Greetings to our friends in the real estate community!
The Title TidBits is back and ready for the digital age! With a
few minor changes to keep the OIC happy, the Title TidBits is back in
distribution at the beginning of each month and we hope you'll enjoy the
contents of it, and find the information knowledgeable and fun.
If you know
somebody who would like to receive this newsletter, please contact our office
via e-mail or phone and we will be glad to share it with them.
We hope the coming season is productive, and please remember that at Cowlitz Title, our "Service is the Difference."

CCAR Golf Tournament The Big Event is September 3rd!
This year's tournament will be
held on Friday, September 3rd at the well-manicured Mint Valley Golf Course in Longview, Washington. Tournament sign-in and lunch begin at 11:30
a.m., with shotgun at 1:30 p.m.
After
the tournament, relax and enjoy the banquet where prizes are awarded and
stories are swapped. This year's banquet will be held at the Cowlitz Regional Conference Center,
1900 7th Avenue in Longview. Social
hour with no-host bar at 6pm and dinner service at 7pm.
Beginner, Novice. Intermediate or Advanced ... all skill levels are
welcome! Participants must be at least
18 years of age. You are welcome to
put together your own four person team or register as a single and we will
assign you to a team.
Although the deadline for registration was
August 24th, if you are interested in playing, please contact the
CCAR office for availability or last minute cancellations at (360) 636-1331 or send an email to
ccar@cowlitzrealtors.com.
Costumes are encouraged, but not required. A Team
Spirit prize will be awarded at the banquet.
No
steel spikes are allowed on the course. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on
the course, except those available from the drink cart.

Theresa Campbell, Public Relations Representative for Cowlitz Title, recently celebrated the wedding of her daughter, Chelsea, on August 14th. The proud mother and beautiful bride are pictured, at right. If you see Theresa out and about, congratulate her and check out all the beautiful pictures from the big event!
Linda Comley has joined Cowlitz Title's escrow department as an Escrow Assistant/LPO. Linda brings over twenty-five years of experience to our department. Stop by and welcome her to our team!

Chamber Mega-Mixer Winner! Congratulations, Sue Groth!
Cowlitz Title recently took part in the "Chamber Mega Mixer" event and sponsored a booth. Our grand
prize winner at the chipping golf game was Sue Groth, Director of College
Relations for Lower Columbia College. She was the winner of a golf basket stuffed
with his and hers golf accessories and a round of golf donated by Cowlitz
County Title and the Longview Country Club. Congratulations to Sue!

Poker Run Fun! Rotary Event is a Winner
 On Saturday, August 26th, the Longview Early Edition Rotary hosted their
first annual Poker Run. Bikers of all ages gathered at the Cowlitz P.U.D. building to
draw their first poker card and then continued out Silver Lake Highway to Johnston
Ridge. The winner to draw the best poker hand won $500 cash! The weather was
