More to be added next month

Dear Members and Guests,

This month is our Holiday Shopping Bazaar! Several of our members will be selling and showcasing their businesses. Come support our members and join us for great networking.   Please make your reservation online at RSFBPW.com and use paypal. Reservations will be closed at 5pm the Monday before our meeting.

Thank you to Diane Harvey, Patricia Kor, Dr. Nysa Whiteman, Christy Stevenson and Andi Frimmer for educating us on their businesses last month. They all gave thumbnail sketches of what they do. Secret word is gobble.  Please contact them directly to find out more about their business.

In December we are supporting "Standup For Kids", an organization in Oceanside that supports teenagers living on the streets. We are collecting new back packs with items that teenagers like and need: warm hats, gloves, socks, scarves. Gift cards ( $5 - $10) from Starbucks, Walmart, Payless Shoes and Jamba Juice are welcome. If you have questions please contact Corrine Perez - Garcia.

It's Thanksgiving time... This year has been a year of difficult change for many, for some it has been a boon year.  Challenge yourself to be thankful for whatever life has served up. Empower yourself. Sincere appreciation opens our eyes to the most valuable possibilities.  To be resourceful, be appreciative.  See the unique, accessible value of where you are, and position yourself to move positively forward toward wherever you wish to be.

Remember to contact one member that you'd like to get to know better this month. Make some time to get together.   Let's learn from each other, laugh with each other and encourage each other to be our Best Selves. I look forward to seeing you all November 17th.

With Gratitude,

Julia Uhll, President
