Teen Space Update
Librarian Naomi Magnoni has been working with the Teen Advisory Group, an Eagle Scout candidate, and a variety of volunteers in planning our first teen space at the Library. Furniture and a rug have been selected, electrical outlets have been added, and we are ready to move! If you are interested in volunteering to help create the new space, join us at the Library beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 20.
Wear something you won't mind working in - and be sure to wear close-toed shoes. Shelves and books will be shifted to make room for 'tween and teen space. Lunch will be served to those who sign up to volunteer. Call 508-485-5031 or visit the Library to sign up.

Lessons Learned from
Cumberland Farms
cumberland

It was another successful evening of learning at the Southborough Library's Southborough Business Network Inside Story speaker event on Thursday, September 13. Our thanks to Ari Haseotes, Southborough resident, President and Chief Operating Officer of Cumberland Farms Inc. for his enlightening and energetic talk!  We learned a lot about the convenience store industry and the refinery of oil in our modern world. Thanks to the volunteers who put the program together, and for the Friends of the Library, Fay School and the Southborough Economic Development Team for supporting this series.
