FrancisBFay

Please plan to join us on Saturday, September 17, for an Open House, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. as we mark 100 years at this address:  25 Main Street, Southborough. Although the library was started with a decree from Colonel Francis B. Fay (pictured above) in 1852, it was moved to its current location 59 years later in 1911. Refreshments will be served - home-baked goods by the Friends of the Library.

On Wednesday, September 21, at 7:00 p.m., Richard E. "Nick" Noble will talk on "The Fay Memorial Library : a Perspective on Southborough's History." Plan to join us for this informative evening and bring a friend.

E-readers are Here!

People have been happily borrowing our new e-readers (Kindles and Nooks).  Each device comes pre-loaded with more than a dozen titles. Search the Library's catalog for "ereader" and see what we have to offer. E-readers go out for 3 weeks, and you'll need to sign a pledge promising to handle them with care. E-readers must be returned in person - not in the book return box - each time you borrow one. Let us know what you think!
