Look! It's Spring in the Library Garden

It's the first spring for our new and beautiful garden that the Southborough Gardeners designed and oversaw last year. It's a delight to watch the many flowers and plants reawaken after such a long winter. Thank you, Southborough Gardeners!

Daughters of the British Empire Tea & Poetry Reading
On Thursday, April 28, we enjoyed Tea & Poetry with the Daughters of the British Empire (DBE). In honor of Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding, the topics were poetry and the royals. Proceeds from the $5 free-will donation will be shared among the Southborough Library Fund and the DBE charities. Thank you to Prudence Webster, of the Friends of the Library, for organizing this event!
The Spring Poetry Festival is made possible through a grant from our Southborough Cultural Arts Council, and we thank them for that.
