SWACC will be the site of the February Membership Mingle at noon on Thursday, February 9th. The Culinary Arts Class is preparing a delicious meal that will be served in the Commons Area. Please RSVP by Tuesday, February 7th to the chamber office at 235-7919.

The Sights and Sounds of Monett | |
will be featured at the Chamber's Annual Meeting Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the Southwest Area Career Center Commons. Four new board of directors will be elected, Community Service and Pride and Progress award winners will be announced along with a great dinner and entertainment (Leon Troyer, The Common Man).
Tickets will be available Monday, February 6th at the Chamber office ($20 per person). |

Award Nominations | |
The Community Service Award is given for outstanding service to the community, spanning a long period of time, and having significant impact on the quality of life in Monett.
The Pride and Progress Award is given for notable contribution to the community in an area of special pride and progress. This may be of short duration or narrow impact on the community.

Ag Conference | |
The 43rd Annual Ag Conference will be held on Tuesday, Feburary 21st at the Monett National Guard Armory. Dairy registration starts at 10:00 a.m. Diary Conference hours are from 10:30 - 2:30. Lunch will be served at noon sponsored by the Monett Chamber of Commerce. Beef Conference starts with registration at 3:30 and will close at 8:00 p.m. Miller FFA will be serving the evening meal at 6:00 for a cost of $5.00 per person payable at the door when you register. |
