EXPO Wrap!

Planning an event for a year is what the EXPO Committee does. They cover all of the bases but even the top notch team led by Dave Frame and Steve Pfendler couldn't have predicted this year's heat wave! Special thanks to all of our sponsors and auction donors! At the Annual Meeting on Thursday, the attendees learned about the new Plumbing Code, continuing education for licensing, national energy codes, and apprenticeship updates.

heat index on the golf course.
Friday morning was for learning and the attendees were treated to what one of them called "the best educational seminar EVER." For two hours Lorraine Ball of Roundpeg Marketing walked them through the world of web candy and social media stew. Brad Wilt and Meg Christensen, attorneys with Bingham McHale presented legal issues and answers.
The 'chatter' continued from there to the EXPO in the Ballroom. The close proximity of products and people allowed for a lot of one on one discussions.
The closing event was the President's Reception on Center Stage. Eugene Schuler was presented with a PHCC Apron and momentum of his year as "Chef Schuler." He then turned the gavel over to the new president, Laura Ciriello-Benedict, Ciriello Plumbing, Beech Grove. Laura outlined her plans for the year and then let the official comedian of PHCC, Jonathan Pfendler entertain the crowd. |
