Busy Weeks Around The State!
Things are heating up around the state!
The North Central Indiana PHCC is honoring their graduating apprentices on Tuesday, June 14th at the Bremen American Legion/VFW in Bremen beginning at 6 p.m. Jeff Stevens, Mid-City Supply is the Commencement Speaker. On Wednesday, June 15th the Greater Indianapolis chapter will head to Indiana Downs in Shelbyville starting at 4:30 p.m. for racing and dinner. Cost is $40 per person. Contact Ann Booth for sign up.
The Indiana PHCC Golf outing is on June 16, 2011 at Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville. This 218 acre course is full of bunkers - 125 to be exact! The cost to play is $110 per golfer which includes green fees, cart, prize ticket and dinner following the outing. Shotgun start is at noon EST. We could use some more golfers! The St. Joe Valley PHCC will meet on June 22nd at the Tabor Hill Winery in Michigan. New honorary members: Paul White, Bill Meyer, and Darrell Graf will be recognized. |

Did you know...
Over 70% of students graduating from a private not-for-profit university with a bachelor's degree had some student loans. For graduate of public universities, that figure was over 60%. Among all recent graduates with student loans, 25% owed over $30,500 and 10% owed more than $44,500! Makes that plumbing apprenticeship program all the more enticing, doesn't it?! The Greater Indianapolis PHCC held a successful golf outing May 19th at Dye's Walk. Central Supply provided the lunch for the golfers but their name was mistakenly left off of the sponsor sign. GIPHCC regrets the error and appreciates the good food!
One of the biggest honors the state association confers each year is the Contractor of the Year. Awarded at the Convention at Belterra on July 22nd the honor goes to an individual who has worked hard on behalf of the industry and the association. Know someone who fits that bill?
