Survey Said...
computerThanks to everyone who responded to the Indiana PHCC Contractor Needs Survey.  They survey response rate was 30.2% which is considered very good!  The Board of Directors reviewed the results and are using the data to help plan future programs.  Here are some brief results:  65.8% felt that education for the contractor is the most important thing PHCC should focus on with 52.3% saying 'technician training."  47.6% of the respondents for budget 3% or less for training. 80.9% said they would be willing to send their technicians to a full day training seminar with 88.1% more likely to do so if that training included some sort of certification.  Stay tuned for how those numbers will turn into reality!
What is a QR and Why Should You Care?
You have probably noticed those funny little squares on websites, business cards, etc.  The QR Code is a two dimensional bar code that connects the offline world to the online.  If you have a smart phone with a QR app you can instantly convert the square image into data  Web addresses, video, or text content can be embedded into the code.  Confused on how it relates to your business?  Join us for Lorraine Ball's presentation on Web Candy and Social Media Stew at this year's EXPO.  Before you totally dismiss this 'new-fangled' contraption you might want to remember you probably were just as confused several years ago about that new fangled thing you thought would never catch on called a fax machine!  Check out EXPO info here!
