I am pleased to announce two new recent additions to the team;

In the workshop, Jonathon Maw, a fantastic painter and a great worker who I am very happy to take on board following the increase in work over the past months.

In the office James Porritt, a Newcastle University Graduate who I have appointed as Marketing Executive. I'm sure most of you will already have heard from James over the phone and some of you will have met him in person. James has been marketing amd and helping with furthering the business particularly in the oil & gas sector.

Both new members of staff have settled well and have quickly become part of the team at amd, meaning you get even better service!

 

Following the recent arrival of James, a rivalry has sparked which is dragging staff out onto the fairways despite the Tyneside winter weather! Paul (Factory Manager) is a solid golfer playing off 18 at Tynemouth Golf Club. James is a young hard hitter who plays off 20 and the pair have been battling it out every weekend.

I believe Paul was slightly shocked on the first round thinking James just "talked a good game" and was lucky to escape with a narrow victory. Since then the pair have been at loggerheads most weekends. If any of you are keen golfers dont hesitate to call and schedule a game with the pair! Though winter golf is not for the faint hearted!
