Hi, we're Gail and Norm at the Back Porch Garden and Tea Bar. Our philosophy is "Enjoy life to its fullest, and treat people the way you would want to be treated."
We listened to our customers and have created a fun, friendly relaxing, atmosphere at the wine and tea bar, to enjoy conversation, choose from 70 wonderful loose-leaf iced and herbal teas and taste our wonderful "close to" organic wine that we offer by sample cup, glass or by the bottle for retail. Our teas are "Top Shelf" and have been suggested by our customers over the past six years. They are of the highest quality from around the world and about 65% of our tea selection if organic. Our unique wines come from the wonderful "Murielle Winery" located in Clearwater, Florida and are as close as we can find, we have the unique Tropical, Traditional, and Vintners Series that make up approximately eighteen different wines to choose from. The grapes are mainly from California, Washington State, and Canada. And by the way, Canada is the leader in the producton of "Ice Wine."
Located among the many unique gift Shoppes in the Historical Heritage Village of downtown Crystal River, Florida, we offer you the opportunity to visit one of the best-kept secrets for unique Shoppes on the coast of West Central Florida. TO YOUR HEALTH: Researchers from several countries have presented evidence that suggests that black teas, green teas, and oolong teas, have a protective capability against oral, lung, colon and other cancers. Green teas, especially, with more than thirty polyphenols, have a unique beneficial effect on the human system. These polyphenols are also found in fruits and vegetables and act as antioxidants like vitamin C, E, and betacarotene and may reduce serum cholesterol and the risk of heart disease and stroke.
This is just a taste of what our store is all about. Come in and have a sample. I know we have something you will like with either our wine or our teas.

Citrus Sports & Apparel is a family owned and operated business. We cater to the leagues in our community, the schools both public and private, and to the individual. We carry high school letterman jackets and offer custom embroidery which ensures your jacket will reflect your personality. At our store you sure to find what you are looking for, whether it will be to play the game or cheer on your athlete. Our store recently relocated to the Heritage Village located on Citrus Avenue in historic downtown Crystal River. We appreciate your patience while we have made our transition and are already looking at ways to better serve you. Our hours of operation are M-F 10:00am - 6:00pm and on Saturday from 9:00am - 2:00pm unless we are having a special event in The Village, then our hours will be posted on the door. We are very excited about this move and look forward to your visit.
