Join us for our Raising the Roof Breakfast!

Our annual Raising the Roof Breakfast is just two weeks away! On October 11, 2012, at 7am, Evergreen Habitat for Humanity will hold its annual fundraiser at the Vancouver Hilton.
We'll join together and hear from our keynote speaker, the Rev. Dr. Marilyn Sewell. Sewell, an accomplished Unitarian Universalist minister, writer, teacher, and subject of the award winning documentary "Raw Faith," will share her story and the importance of having a strong family and home.
The 'Raising the Roof' breakfast is the single biggest fundraiser Habitat puts on all year. We will honor our volunteers, introduce our partner families and present highlights from the past year.
It's not too late to join us! Tables are filling up fast - we invite you to join us at this complimentary breakfast and celebrate our shared success from the past year! Bring a friend or two, or come by yourself - you'll surely never forget this event.
Will you join us as we build for the future? RSVP to Melissa@ehfh.org or 360.737.1759.

Breaking Ground - Planet Clark Emerald Home

Evergreen Habitat for Humanity is excited to announce the launch of our newest project - the Planet Clark Emerald Home!
In collaboration with Clark County and Quail Homes, this project will boast more than 50% reductions in water and energy usage from a typical new home. Utilizing both traditional and advanced construction methods - the Planet Clark Emerald Home represents the future of green construction.
Join us for the ground breaking on Thursday, October 4th, at 3:30pm at 9717 NE 25th Ave.
Volunteers will join forces with contractors from Quail Homes to build this house - and learn about the future of green construction. Additionally, the public will have opportunities to learn more about green construction and ways to improve their own residence through on-site tours and an interactive website at PlanetClark.com.
Dennis and Shari Ziesemer, along with their teenage children Racheal and Joshua, have been selected by the family selection committee for this exciting project. Watch for a future newsletter about their incredible story!
