"First of all, let me say that we were very pleased with the level of service and certainly the outcome of your efforts on our behalf. As you know, we were not seriously looking to buy a home when we first met in April, 2007. We stumbled upon one of your listings that we thought would be perfect for us, and then had you list our house for sale. We felt you explained everything in detail so that we completely understood the process and what was expected of us....
The two main strengths we saw were the communication and attention to detail. The weekly communication re: showings and feedback was very helpful. It helped us adapt the look of the house based on "real time" feedback. I wish the communication could have been more often, but we understood the time consuming nature of this task. Once the offer was accepted on our old house, there was a lot of "behind the scenes" activity to insure that the closing took place in a timely fashion. When you are buying a new house and selling an old one simultaneously, the timing can be very tricky. Everything has to go like clockwork. Sometimes, as in our case, the buyer's agent was not very experienced and could have easily caused the closing to be delayed. By keeping up with details on both our end and the buyer's, you insured that the closing occurred as scheduled. This was especially important in our case since the closing on our new house was scheduled for the same day!
In short, our buying and selling experience was about as seamless and stress free as possible. Any time you buy a new home--especially if you are selling the old one at the same time--it can be quite stressful and frantic. We were able to put a lot of those details of the selling and buying process out of mind and concentrate on other home buying/selling events such as yard sales and moving logistics. Not having to concentrate on those details helped us to focus on items we needed for the new house and upgrades so that the move-in process went smoothly, and we were settled in our new house in record time!"
