About paint choice - Now Sherwin-Williams AC paint used on all incoming shipments(except O'Neil Classic/antique white - to be confirmed) from July 2011. Sherwin-Williams universal paint chip number will be available by mid-July. AC paint will ensure a solid, hard free from scratch panel. Paint is UV cured and tested to be UV resistant and protect all wood cabinets from kitchen daily use damage (cleaning agents, salt, water, etc.).
About change of cabinet box finish - 70% of participators agree box with matching finish is not so important, as long as cabinets with glass doors have matching color, and outside skin and matching door panels are offered.
Starting with new inventory arriving in August, most of our cabinet boxes will have clear interior/exterior finishes.
For a limited time we will offer matching skins for exposed side, and assembl/glue skin service at $10/ea box count upon request We will also offer 10% off matching solid wood door panels thoughout September (9/1-9/30/2011). Orders must be placed online; use code #SEPMATCH
About assembled shipping - 60% agreed a 20-30% price increase is reasonable for assembled cabinets delivered in USA.
We are offering this service for a trial period. We will assemble, glue and carefully wrap the cabinets and ship on pallets via Fedex or Con-way freigh carrier. All items will be checked upon assembling to ensure that they are free from defects. All CAM locks will be capped with Mohawk pilot hole caps (no metal head showing). Just add 25% to your standard order (including shipping cost).
About special orders - 65% agree a 20-30% price increase for special finish is reasonable We are working on a special order system, which will allow different paint/stain finish to be available for shipping in 5-6 weeks (you will need to obtain a paint chip number from Sherwin Williams, or choose one of our ten offered finishes.
