"More about Sneakers"
Many of you are already familiar with Sneakers' story. Sneakers was with us for almost 10 months and, at times, we feared we would never find just the right home for her. We all rejoiced earlier this month when she was adopted by Mr. Joseph Nappi.
We were even happier when Mr. Nappi called us last week to tell us how well she is doing. She loves playing outside and found a bucket in his yard that she carries her stuffed toy Gorilla around in. This is the Gorilla that she snatched off of our counter when she was going out the door on her way home. She has lost (or buried for later use) all of the tennis balls that she went home with. Twice a day, Mr. Nappi and Sneakers go for a walk around the neighborhood where she meets and greets all the neighbors. She is active and always ready to play, but, at night, she chooses her side of the bed and snores away until morning. Truly a happy ending! |
