Ravioli in can
"Ravioli"
This is Ravioli when we first saw her.  A skinny, bedragled cat with a can stuck on her head.  Understandably, she was terrified and exhausted by the situation she was in.  Our veterinarian sedated her and gently removed the can.  We don't know how long the can had been on her head, but she definitely had missed quite a few meals. She was lucky that the can  opening had smooth edges and did not cut her neck.

You can see Ravioli and other cats available for adoption at www.humanesocietycc.org

She must have gotten lost from her home because as soon as she woke up from the sedation she started purring and wanted our love and affection almost as much as a good meal.  She has since had plenty of both and is now fully recovered and ready to find a new home where she will be happy to stay inside.
