"Jazzmine"
Home again at Last!
Jazz is a 13 year old Boston Terrier who wandered away from home one evening in July. Her family looked and looked but couldn't find her. They were sick with worry. Jazz is older, she doesn't see too well and certainly is not used to living outside. They put up signs and called the Humane Society and Tri-County Shelter with a lost report. And they kept on looking and waiting almost giving up hope
Finally, after three weeks, the phone rang! It was the Humane Society calling to say we thought Jazz had been found. They rushed right over and it really was Jazz. Someone had found her the night she was lost but didn't see the signs or report her found until they brought her into the Humane Society a full three weeks later. Jazz's owners took her right to the vet for a check up and discovered that she had a bladder infection. She was started on antibiotics and was soon feeling much better. Happy and home again at last! |

Volunteer Spotlight

We would like to thank the Ruff Ryders Maryland Chapter Motorcycle Club for giving up their Saturday morning to help us cut trees and clear the brush from behind our sheds. They came out in strong numbers (and with beautiful bikes!) and cleared out the brush and trees in only two hours! Because of their generosity, we will soon be offering agility classes in the cleared area. Next time you see the Ruff Ryders cruisin down the road, be sure to say thanks for all that they do for their community!
