| Dear Friend: |
I have an important announcement to make in this month's newsletter! The Richwood Banking Company has partnered with McCarthy and Cox, Certified Financial Planners to help our customers reach their financial goals!
We are very excited about this partnership because of the demand for financial and investing advice. Over the last couple of years we have received many requests for help on decisions about investing. With the volatile stock market and the low rates on "safe" instruments like CD's, many are looking for the best return on their money with little to no risk! Needless to say this is never easy and is probably more challenging now than ever!
The reason the Directors of The Richwood Banking Company chose McCarthy and Cox is their customer service and business model. After discussions with both Tom McCarthy and Jim Cox it was obvious they had the same commitment to their client's success as we do. They do not attempt to make the "quick buck" selling their clients investments and receiving a commission. They like to tie their compensation to the value of the portfolio. That was if the value goes up, they get a raise. If the value goes down, however, they take a pay cut! This model puts them in their client's corner.
McCarthy and Cox will be offering hours in each of our 5 locations. Please call your local RBC office to make an appointment to meet with one of them. There is no commitment to buy anything and your visit is provided at no charge!
We believe this partnership will help our customers find stability in an uncertain future. No one knows what the future holds but why wonder through it aimlessly! Set goals, be proactive and let The Richwood Banking Company and McCarthy & Cox help you achieve the future you plan for!
Have a great May!

| FEATURED BUSINESS |
Edward and Barbara Stofcheck established the first ambulances staffed by emergency medical technicians located in Marion County, Ohio over forty years ago. Since then, the dedication to caring through reliable transportation and convenient service has developed into a family owned and operated business that is unequaled in the industry. Stofcheck is committed to the communities we serve, and it's the support of those communities that has helped us grow to where we are now.
You've probably seen, heard of, or even talked to a little ambulance with a big heart: Andy the Ambulance. He's our little guy, and he's one of our ways of giving back to our communities. He always has a smile on his face and great things to say about being safe and staying safe. He especially loves to ride in parades--even in the winter!
Thanks for featuring us this month, Richwood Bank, and for your support. |

| FYI |
Do your shrubs need pruned?
-Several flowering shrubs grow very well and stay a managable size with no pruning at all.
- If the shrub is flowering every year and is a good size, leave it alone as it dosen't need any help.
- If the flowers become less over time, your shrub will need to be pruned to re-invigorate it.
-If you have an evergreen shrub or hedge with no flowers, but the size is getting out of control, then prune to manage its size.
-Spring flowering shrubs should be pruned after flowering.
-Summer flowering shrubs should be pruned in the fall or winter.
