"To find suitable persons for the Episcopal ministry and
aid them in acquiring a thorough education"

SIM's founding purpose on October 2, 1857;

our ministry ever since.

Here's the Church,
Here's the Steeple

Seal
Greetings!

Open the church and see all the people!

That old church nursery school hand presentation carried much truth.  The church is her people.

Recently we received this note from two of the church's people:

Enclosed is a memorial gift for ... the wife of a very personable, respected priest in the diocese of Long Island....We thought your suggested donation [$18.57 per month for SIM's Circle of Seminarian Friends] was an excellent way to honor her....We hope our donation helps a seminarian.

This grateful Episcopal couple was inspired by an article in the Long Island diocesan newsletter, The Dominion, describing an anonymous donation to SIM's Circle of Seminarian Friends of $22,284 equating to one year's worth of $1857 (no decimal!)  monthly giving.

It only takes a spark for SIM to solve the Church's decades-old issue of funding education for Episcopal seminarians. If only 5% of worshipping Episcopalians joined SIM's Circle of Seminarian Friends at $18.57, 100% of the tuitions of Episcopal seminarians would be SIM-paid!

The Church is her people.  Her people are often the solution.

Ignite a spark!

To those who have donated to SIM, we "give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters...and the love of everyone of you for one another." [II Thessalonians 1, 3]

Faithfully yours,
