SEASON OF THANKSGIVING

Seal
Dear Fellow SIM Seminarians:

When I read the current issue of THE CALL, the printed newsletter from SIM, I was touched by the list of donations made to SIM in honor of people's important moments, such as the anniversary of their ordination. As Advent begins and we wait expectantly for the end of final exams (and Jesus, too!), it occurred to me that we could do something special for our benefactors at SIM this year. As Christmas approaches, we may be asked what we need or want for Christmas. We can ask our loved ones to make a donation to SIM in gratitude for the financial assistance they have given us this year.

Similarly, as some of us approach ordination this year, our loved ones and sponsoring churches may be wondering what to give us for our ordination. A stole? A communion kit? We can suggest that our loved ones and our sponsoring churches make a donation to SIM in honor of our ordination.

Giving Thanks

In this season of Thanksgiving, donations made in our name would be a wonderful way to show our gratitude for SIM's financial and spiritual support. Donations can be sent to the following address:

West Hartford, CT 06107
Office: (860) 233-1732
