Meet Our Seminarians Page

SealGreetings!

Happy Ground Hog's Day!  Coinciding with this Sunday, February 6, Theological Education Offering (TEO) Sunday, SIM has established a new page on our web site www.simministry.org: "Meet Our Seminarians."  We have posted the photos and brief bios of seminarians who have already submitted their material to us. We would like the other 83 of you to do the same. We will also be posting on our Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn pages.

As the $18.57 Circle of Seminarian Friends grows virally to appeal on a grassroots level to every Episcopalian and as we continue to SIM Boldly, your info on our web site may be helpful to you in exposing your calls to the broader Church as well as to SIM

SIM is the only organization raising funds on a national basis to support our seminarians. SIM was so recognized when the 2009 General Convention selected us to administer $200,000 over this triennium to help relieve seminarian debt.

It seems to me several factors would benefit both you and SIM if you allow us to post your info:

  1. SIM is growing in reputation around the Church.

  2. "Meet Our Seminarians" page on our web site will draw greater traffic.

  3. Greater traffic benefits both you and SIM - more exposure and more donations.

Send your information (jpg format for photo) to cindy@simministry.org.

It's a WIN/WIN!

Oh, and just one more little thing - please remember to visit our video frequently, invite your friends, and leave a comment. It really helps!       View our videos on YouTube

Thank you for being a part of the SIM family: whether a SIM alum, a faithful contributor to SIM or a lay Episcopalian mindful that our seminarians are the future ordained leadership of The Episcopal Church. We appreciate your support in whatever form as an investment in future ordained leadership to serve The Episcopal Church.

Please look for additional information about ways you may support SIM on our website: www.simministry.org.
