It's Cookie Time on The Chew TODAY!

I hope that all of you had a happy and healthy Thanksgiving! I had a great time! We drove with a couple of friends out to Michigan to spend the holiday with Stephen's family. After 2 Thanksgiving dinners, one on Thursday and one on Friday I am feeling full of the holiday spirit (along with pecan pie and stuffing).

I am a HUGE fan of the holidays. I love shopping for my friends and family and decking the halls, well, hall, after all, I do live in a 1 bedroom apartment...

So tomorrow I will be getting into the holiday spirit on The Chew! Tune in if you have a chance, and let me know what you think!

Now that Thanksgiving has passed, it is now time to set our sights on Christmas. And one of my all time favorite things about the holidays is the swapping of sweets, namely cookies, which I can never resist. A while back I was able to stop by La Duni Latin Kitchen in Dallas, Texas. It's family business owned by Taco and Duni Borga and they infuse their restaurants with so much soul! Taco is the executive chef and Duni handles all of the sweets. She showed me some her sweetest Christmas traditions, including her twist on the traditional Latin American cookie, the Alfajor. Delicioso!!!!
