Keep In Step - October 2011
Dear Dancers and Parents,

Thank you for being a part of our exciting 30th season.  The studio is filled with high energy and joyous rhythm-making!  I am very proud of the progress I'm already seeing in only five short weeks and my staff and I look forward to welcoming parents into the classroom for our upcoming observation weeks.  Mark your calendars now for December 3 at 4:00 when we bring our annual holiday show back to Cary Hall for an upbeat holiday dance performance featuring our Legacy Dance Company, our Youth Intensive Program and our Adult companies. We take great pride in our programming for all ages and all levels of interest and we are grateful to be able to share our passion for dance with you and your family.

Thank you for choosing The Dance Inn for your dance education.

See you at Observation Weeks!

Thelma Goldberg, Director

Studio Notes:

Conflicts with recital dates:  Our 30th annual recital is scheduled for March 24 (2pm & 7pm) & 25 (4pm)  at Lexington High School and our Dress Rehearsals will be March 17 (10am - 4pm) & 18 (2pm-7pm).  We ask that if you have a family conflict, you notify the office IN WRITING by November 1st.  We would like you to please remember conflicts must include something that cannot possibly be rescheduled which includes things such as a family wedding, a vacation etc.  You must also notify us if your dancer will not be in the recital by November 1st in order to receive a refund for your costume.

Makeup Classes:  We continue to have a very generous make up policy.  Please check with your child's teacher for other opportunities to attend class if your child misses his/her regular lesson.  You do not need to let us know you're coming to a different class, but please let the teacher know which class you're visiting from.

Snow & Inclement Weather Policy: Please note that we generally follow the Lexington Public Schools when they close for snow or other reasons.  But, often if the roads clear by the time we'd like to start classes, we will hold them.  Please call the studio at noon for an updated message about whether or not we will be open for our afternoon and evening classes.

Observation Days: Soon you will be receiving information about the day that we would like you to come in to observe your child's dance class.  We look forward to sharing this time with you!

Adult Classes:  Don't miss a great Zumba workout for Adults Thursdays 6:30 - 7:30 with Miss Sheila.  For full adult program details, click here.

Mommy & Me: Classes for little ones on Tuesdays from 10:15 - 11:00am.  Space is still available (ages 18 months to 3 years).  Call the studio for details: 781.863.5360
