To my Loyal Loft Loving Friends and Clients,
I am pleased to have the best assistant in the world working with me for the summer. My daughter, Juliette, has joined the WeLoveLofts.com team and is doing the work of two people. She has taken on the task of updating the site, going through every listing to make sure that they are current and correct.
I got a call from the owner of a huge loft on Chestnut St in downtown Providence last night. He has requested that we have a convesation about listing his loft for sale. More to come next week...
We closed Unit 8 in Ropeworks Lofts last week. The buyer was a working artist and dean of the fine arts department in a local University. I have gotten calls since the closing, its too bad that there isn't another one of those units for sale.
We have three great rentals that have become available over the last week. See below for info on Unit 302 in Geneva Mills, Unit 502 in Bayley Lofts, and Unit 405 in Mile Square Lofts.
I listed a cute home in Reservoir Triangle last Friday, using the most recent pending and sold comps as a basis for pricing. Within five days, we are in a situation of multiple offers. I guess that there is something to be said for pricing a property appropriately and listening to your realtor. I'm going to list another great opportunity in East Providence tomorrow, so if that is your thing, give me a call.
OK, Unit 304 in Mile Square Lofts. Listed for $139K. Can I get an offer for $100K to submit to the bank? This unit is currently rented for $1250 per month and the tenants are willing to stay, but understand if they have to leave at the end of their lease. This is a singular, wonderful, opportunity and I can't understand the reluctance of buyers to make an offer. Maybe someone can explain the problem to me.
Please call me when you are ready to start looking for a Loft or other type of home. It is a gift to be able to help clients find homes that they love.
John
