To my Loyal Loft Loving Friends and Clients,
I got a call from a nice couple this week named Al and Marianne. They paid me the biggest compliment of the week by saying, "We spend some time every Sunday morning searching your site for new loft listings". I have found that there are many loft fans out there that are passively and patiently waiting for the property that they love to come on the market. I'm here for you, PLEASE call me when you are ready to start actually looking at homes.
Unit 304 in Corliss Landing is rented, Unit 2A in Imperial Place Lofts is rented, and Unit 204 in Lofts at the Strand is rented. The Loft in Eagle Square will be rented tomorrow for 4 years to a Brown medical student. As soon as I posted these rental opportunities on RentProv and CraigsList, I got slammed with calls. If anyone out there has a loft that they would consider renting, please give me a call. I need lofts to rent and the properties that I have are renting out faster than they come in.
My family's search for a home continues. It looks like we're going to buy something practical and then buy a building to renovate into a loft down the line. It is my experience that the battle between practical and cool happens to many buyers, I'd just hoped that it wouldn't happen to us.
After being away from print advertising for a while, I decided to run a full page ad in GET Magazine for the next three months. Historically, the GLBT demographic has been very receptive to the whole LOFT niche. I've inserted the June ad below so that you can see what to expect.
We listed Unit 302 in Geneva Mills last week. This unit is so nice, you would swear that it is staged and that no one has ever lived in it. It is listed at a very reasonable $189K. There is a link to the listing below.
The price for Unit 405 in Mile Square Lofts has dropped to $309,000 and we are also making available for rent at $2300/month. Think 3190 Sq Ft, 2 1/2 baths, Rock Star Loft...

Unit 304 in Mile Square rocks. I'm not sure why someone hasn't made an offer on this loft, but let me say it again...1900 SqFt two bedroom loft for $149K.
This one makes especially good sense for an investor, as the current tenants want to stay!
