To my Loyal Loft Loving Friends and Clients,
Well, I've had my issues with Facebook and might be back in the game. At one point, we were sending messages to fans of the WeLoveLofts Facebook Business Page suggesting that they check out the actual WeLoveLofts.com site. I guess that Facebook considers that harassment, so my personal Facebook account got suspended. After trying for months to reconcile with Facebook, I've simply opened a new account. Please search my name and add yourself as a friend. My broker, Rob Scaralia, forwarded me an article about selling during the holidays. It turns out that there are at least 11 reasons to consider listing your Loft NOW! I can back this up with a growing list of buyers that have called me in the last few weeks and are currently on the hunt for a new home. Please check out the full article below.
The owner of Unit 8 in the Ropeworks Lofts in New Bedford has agreed to drop the price by $20,000. This wonderful unit has great light and commercial grade work area with Concrete drainage floor, heavy exhaust system, and stainless everything. It also has great living space with a custom kitchen and cork floor. Ropeworks is a visual artist's community, so tenants must, in some way, be involved with the arts. I'll post a link to the YouTube video and a picture below.
The price for "The Cube" development opportunity has been dropped by $21,000 to $329,000. I am advertising in New England Real Estate Journal this week and have inserted the ad below.
Please call me when you are ready to start looking for a Loft or other type of home. It is a gift to be able to help clients find homes that they love. John

11 Reasons to Sell during the holidays |
11 Reasons to Sell During the Holidays
1. People who look for a home during the Holidays are more serious buyers!
2. Serious buyers have fewer houses to choose from during the Holidays and less competition means more money for you!
3. Since the supply of listings will dramatically increase in January, there will be less demand for your particular home! Less demand means less money for you!
4. Houses show better when decorated for the Holidays!
5. Buyers are more emotional during the Holidays, so they are more likely to pay your price!
6. Buyers have more time to look for a home during the Holidays than they do during a working week!
7. Some people must buy before the end of the year for tax reasons!
8. January is traditionally the month for employees to begin new jobs. Since transferees cannot wait until Spring to buy, you must be on the market now to capture that market!
9. You can still be on the market, but you have the option to restrict showings during the six or seven days during the Holidays!
10. You can sell now for more money and we will provide for a delayed closing or extended occupancy until early next year!
11. By selling now, you may have an opportunity to be a non-contingent buyer during the Spring, when many more houses are on the market for less money! This will allow you to sell high and buy low! |
