Let's Start with The Basics
"Simple to understand" is not what comes to mind when you think Medicare. If YOU or a loved one are soon eligible to receive Medicare then you surely have questions.
Join us Tuesday evening, July 17, at the Sally Griffin Center for a Medicare Basics seminar. We'll cover Parts A, B, C and D in this hour and half long class. Don't worry, we'll be done at 7:00 - still plenty of time to get out and enjoy the sunset!

AOA at "Stand Down" Event
Across the nation, community volunteers and organizations hosted multi-day events for homeless vets in a series of "Stand Down" events. In military parlance, a "stand down" is a time for exhausted soldiers to retreat from the field for a period of rest and relaxation. In mid-June, over 200 homeless veterans were provided with clothing, food, shelter, health & dental services, and veterinary screenings for pets, as well as information on community resources to assist them. The AOA joined about 20 other community agencies participating in the multi-day event.
