New Logo

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Thanks to the design team at TMD Creative, we are pleased to introduce our new logo.  Our "tree" is a symbol for both people and place:

People: An upward-reaching person is dressed in multi colored leaves representing the seasons of life, supported by the palm of a hand.

Place: A heritage oak rises from the beautiful hills of the Central Coast.

As always, we appreciate your feedback.  Let us know what you think of our logo - or any item you read about in @aoa - by clicking here

It's That Time Again . . .

The time to reassess your Medicare Part D prescription drug plan is just around the corner.  One can join, switch or drop their Part D plan from October 15th - December 7th.  Any change goes into effect January 1, 2012.  HICAP can provide a FREE Part D reassessment!  Make sure your plan is the least expensive option next year.  Simply complete the Prescription Drug Plan Finder form & return it to our office for processing.  We will postal mail the results, including estimated annual costs after October 15th.

And, to learn more about the state's plans for transitioning adult day health care programs, as noted in the above article click here.
