 @aoa . . . e-news from the Alliance on Aging

Thank you Salinas

The Alliance on Aging now has offices in Monterey AND Salinas.  We've successfully completed our move to Old Town Salinas and have been welcomed with open arms by our new neighbors.

In addition to our Scholze Park office in Monterey, our new location is at 247 Main Street in Salinas.  Together we are providing help with Medicare counseling, Part D drug coverage, community education, peer counseling, employment training, long term care placement assistance & advocacy, and income tax counseling.

Spirals LogoSpirals opening is getting closer!

The sounds of sawing & hammering are slowing.  The painters are packing up their pails & brushes.  We are now looking for volunteers to work at our new benefit consignment store in Pacific Grove!

Spirals will open its doors late this summer in the former Hallmark store location at 570 Lighthouse Avenue and is now taking donations and consignment items.

To learn more about volunteering, donating or setting up consignment,  please call 831-646-1459.

Are You a Legacy Society Member?

Members of our generous community, who have chosen to remember Alliance on Aging in their estate plans, are a special group. Their philanthropy has helped sustain & propel us to serve seniors in Monterey County - more than 8,000 in 2010.

Members of the Legacy Society share a strong common bond that has championed AOA's extraordinary achievements.

 Turning their indivudual passions into action, these donors have looked ahead to the needs of future generations.  They have effectively put "money in the bank" to fulfill countless opportunities that ensure continued excellence.  And depending on how their plan was created, they have helped solidify their own financial futures as well.

We invite you to join the committed philanthropists who enjoy the rewards of membership in the Legacy Society.

For more information please contact Michelle Noseworthy at 831-655-4243.
