We are on the move! For the next two months, we will publish our "summer lite" issues, updating you on the changes taking place here at the Alliance. In the articles below, learn more about our new store; Spirals, in Pacific Grove and our new office in downtown Salinas.

Get ready Pacific Grove . . . Here we come!

The Alliance on Aging is opening an upscale consignment benefit store to help support its existing programs and the development of new services for older adults throughout Monterey County.

Spirals will open its doors late this summer in downtown Pacific Grove at the former Hallmark store location at 570 Lighthouse Avenue and is now seeking volunteers, donations and consignment items. To learn more, please call 831-646-1459.

Thank You Volunteer Advocates!

Thank you to our volunteers, clients and staff for the compelling testimony given at the recent County Budget Hearings. You were remarkable in your representation of mental health challenges of older adults and the importance of the Senior Peer Counseling Program in our community. Advocacy at work!

Alliance on Aging in Old Town Salinas

As we announced in June, you will soon be able to access services of the Alliance on Aging at two convenient locations: Monterey AND Salinas! In addition to our Scholze Park offices in Monterey, you can visit us at 247 Main Street in Salinas for help with Medicare counseling, Part D drug coverage, community education, peer counseling, employment training, long term care placement assistance & advocacy, and income tax counseling. We're preparing for our move now and expect to be in our new location some time in August. Stay tuned for more details.
