Family Caregivers, Build Your Skills . . . Next Class Begins November 4th.

 

The Alliance on Aging's Caregiver Training program teaches family members the fundamental skills of caregiving through hands-on, non-clinical classes. The curriculum, based on a nationally-tested model, includes stress management and offers a safe environment in which to discuss challenges of providing care at home.

What is an Ombudsman?

 

Many families struggle with the decision to consider long term care as an option for a loved one. The Alliance on Aging Ombudsman staff provide comprehensive information about the different levels of care, rates, and locations in Monterey County; and help to guide families to a decision that is right for their circumstances.
